Arya Stark watches her father confessing his presumed crimes in the Sept of Baelor, King's Landing. On the platform of honour, Littlefinger, Sansa, Cersei, Joffrey, the Hound and Varys watch too. There's Ilyn Payne behind Cersei. And Sandor is looking at Sansa, obviously The man with the black cloak on the foreground is supposed to be Yoren.
Even if the Sept of Baelor is probably very different from what I painted, this is very very close to how I figured the scene while reading Game of Thrones. Anyway, I tried to use a different style for this watercolour, leaving large strokes of colour to dry out making all the blots it wanted ^^ My aim was to produce something Gipi-style, but I'm waaaays far from that result I fear that what I got is too confused, with too many colours and too many layers. It should have been done with less shades and less layers. On Arya alone there are some 30 layers, more or less. The parts I'm happy with are the statue of Baelor, the Red Keep, Needle, Cersei, and the bearded man in the bottom right.
I felt so terrible for Sansa and Arya in this scene . I was hoping they would find a way to get to each other after this. I know they bickered but they're still sisters and needed each other .
this is an amazing perspective!
