Joff's justice Ned POV by cabepfir Joff's justice Ned POV by cabepfir
Eddard Stark meets his fate in the form of Ilyn Payne.

I have this weird mental image of Ned as Chuck Norris :D Please forgive me, Ned!

Arya's POV of the same scene is here [link]

I. LOVE. THIS.

Ned looks EXACTLY like I imagined him! One of the biggest things I can't stand about the series is Ned... Sean Beann is BRILLIANT acting the part, but he looks like a freaking caveman! Not the honorable Warden of the North :P

That aside, you captured the expression perfectly, and this is just fantastic

A wonderful, wonderful drawing, it really conveys Ned's sadness well... and Payne's lack of expression is appropriately unnerving.

It's a terribly heart-wrenching drawing though, I loved Ned Stark

Bellissimi colori, comunque, e bella tecnica ad acquerello. Povero Eddardino, che fine orribile! Il mio personaggio preferito... Sob... :(

But I keep laughing at the direwolf on Ned's tunic, in a good way.

It's great. The whole picture is great. Good work!

Anyway, it's more likely that one day or the other I will finally draw something about Tumnus... I did a few Tumnus sketches when I read the first book, but none satisfied me enough to produce a completed version.
I wait for prince Caspian - the movie!

I know there would be no Tumnus in Caspian... But I hope I'll like it anyway! :D

I have TONS of fanarts to do! I actually started to write down a list to procede in order  There are some 11 fanarts already planned for Song of Ice and Fire, then at least one more Snape, and a couple of original drawings too... Sorry, no Tumnus for the moment. But one day I really hope to find the inspiration to devote an illustration to him (and Lucy! ;) )

I am sure you will like it, Caspians story is very very touching and Caspian is very brave, so are the 4 children (Lucy, Edmund, Peter and Susan)... Edmund is still a bit of a brat in this story, haha, don`t we love this characters .... , I love how Caspian and him kinda fight in the book!! Caspian has a lot of pacience with Edmund !

Well, Actually I confuse Edmund with his cousin Eustace, both really bratty kids... really really !! But Eustace learns his lesson in book 3, and Edmund and him have a good talk... I love that scene!!! I love how both children learn that being bratty isn`t good, and they learn the hard way, specially poor Edmund in book 1... with Jadis...

:D but still I like him a lot there!! :D He still has a lot to learn...

Lucy, to me is the star of all the children with Edmund... they are together in many adventures (5 books in all)...

Awww one Snape!! I wish I could just get to work on my fan arts.. I am sick lately (sinus infection) and well, the usual migraines... ;)

Tumnus and Lucy are  I luv them! :D

Wow! I love the way you "dob" the paint, and leave unpainted bits for highlighting. Very nice.

What do you mean by "to dob"? Sorry but I'm not a mother tongue.
It's quite usual to leave unpainted bits in watercolour, as the only white available for you there is the sheet :)

Ah but you see I was always hopless at leaving white when watercolouring, so I'm a bit jealous!

"Dob", a bit like "dab." Dabbing the brush on the paper, your placing of colour seems precise and measured, and relaxed and easy at the same time, and this in spite of the difficulties of watercolour itself, (which is hard to get precise, it tends to "blob".)

Dob is combining "dabbing" (as in dabbing a brush onto paper) and "blob" making blobs of colour. Hence "dob". Sorry it's a bit of word play that wouldn't make sense to a non-native english speaker, but often I don't realise I'm doing word play.

Basically I like your technique.
